Almost 20 years ago, I discovered Rhode Island, “a hidden gem” that surely became my home. Throughout my years living in Rhode Island, I’ve explored many of ‘Lil Rhody’s hidden gems such as local businesses, beaches and waterfalls, parks and recreational centers,, museums, arts and theatres, authentic traditional cuisines but most importantly the diverse communities and organizations that have continuously welcomed me. My greatest and most valuable experience that I’ve gained and hold dearest to my heart is the relationships and networks that I’ve built working, advocating, and volunteering in Rhode Island.
